Turkish Nationals Were Granted the Most Visas by the Netherlands Last Year
When it comes to visa applications that received the most positive responses, those with the highest number of visa requests filed stand out.
These are the five nationalities with the most Schengen visas obtained by the Netherlands:
- Turkish nationals obtained 84,240 visas from the Netherlands in 2024. That is 86.8 per cent of 97,006 applications that this nationality group filed.
- Indian nationals were granted 83.2 per cent of the applications they filed for visas. That results in 75,727 visas obtained out of 91,003 applications.
- Chinese nationals obtained 70,203 visas, or 96.71 per cent of 72,595 applications that they filed.
- Indonesian nationals were approved 51,103 visas, or 93.1 per cent of 54,888 applications that were filed by this nationality group in 2024.
- Filipino nationals obtained 95.77 per cent of the applications they filed for the year, 46,500 out of 48,556 applications.
